domino effect
First of all, I would be remiss in not mentioning that Governor “no taxes” is now responsible for over 60 new taxes and fee increases and as if that wasn’t enough: the single largest LLC tax in the country (during a recession that is causing so much unemployment it has conjured images of the great depression.) The details of what this LLC tax is frightening to business owners. The state will allow an adjuster to come in to our business and decide what we should be paid and then tax the rest. Forget about the fact that this LLC tax is constitutionally questionable. Could this be any more arbitrary? In a time when jobs are scarce enough to find we are going to attack the source of funding for growth of new businesses? This is just poor policy and even worse timing. This is retro-active to last year and just plain dangerous. My company allows me to come into contact with many other small business owners and this is going to have a horrible effect of what is left of New Hampshire’s economy. The domino effect with this legislative change is this. This is a tax designed to increase revenue in a time when revenue’s are falling. In a few months once enough businesses have been hit with this new tax many are going to need to start either A. cutting staff to cover the new tax or B. not have enough money to grow. So in a year this tax will ultimately be responsible for less revenue not more and further cut jobs. Governor Lynch, Attorney General Michael Delaney please perform your duty and challenge this tax before it further cripples New Hampshire’s struggling small business owners.

Starting line or finish line
I have these sayings, my wife calls them Robisms. The one I wish to share today is: although with the internet we are capable of being closer as a civilization than ever before we are further apart than ever. Recently there was a massive earthquake in Haiti. The people of these United States once again showed their compassion and heart by donating what is approaching almost a trillion dollars. While money isn’t going to help those that lost loved ones it will help a ravaged country get back on its feet. We have an unemployment rate around 17% when you factor in all the information. We all (it seems) know someone that is laid off. There are other families that are on fixed incomes, still more that are receiving help from the state. There are many more that are neighbors, friends “or just someone from the block”. Where is the help for them? Why is it easier for us to write a check for people in a different country than it is to help our neighbors? While we face many challenges with the weakened state of our economy: prices, medical care, and taxes are all going up. We are afraid. We have a fear that we are going to lose our job, or business. A fear that we are going to get taxed so all our comfort money is going to disappear. So many uncertainties and no one seems to be giving answers. Recently I saw a petition going around that claimed we should support drug testing people that are receiving state and/or federal assistance. While I support the idea behind it; I can’t support further limiting freedom. Healthcare is looming. Although 60-70% of Americans are against it Nanci Pelosi and company have made every threat and intention known that they are going full steam ahead. Forgetting about the fact that we are supposed to live in a representative republic. What I can’t understand is why anyone would be for it. I have financial struggles. While I don’t require assistance for anything I am certainly not financially secure as I know most people feel the same way. We live in a country that was founded by men that said:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.
These men wanted it made clear. We the people give “our” just consent not the other way around. They offered us the hope, (the same hope our President doesn’t understand) in these simple words:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Posterity is what most of us miss. Let alone that we don’t really understand what posterity means. So I will define it. It means how we want future people to view us. So I ask: would people that believe in the right of each other to run the government be on board with our government deciding proper amounts of water used to flush our toilets? Would they be okay with the FCC tacking on a small tax to our phone bills every month (or would they even be okay with an FCC)? We need to ask if we really are the greatest country on earth than why do people in other countries see more generosity from those that live 100 yards up the road? The truth is we are falling. Not from differences of party or politics but from God. Marx believed that in order to make a civilization want government control you had to take their soul. Are we there, I ask you? Where is the soul of a country that turns its back on their neighbors to help those far away? Where is our heart? George Washington and company stood up for what was right and they faced the most feared armies on earth and a 33% approval rating when they first started. We are worried about how we’ll transport our children if the government outlaws S.U.V.’s. Franklin said that if we embraced security rather than liberty we deserved neither and right now those questions are coming. If you haven’t seen the vanity run amuck in D.C. enough to stand and fight what are you waiting for? This time the enemy is not coming with guns and bombs they are here with their bagged media and fancy slogans. The weak have all ready fallen. One of the founders quotes I like best is very simple in concept and deadly true. All evil needs to succeed is for good men to do nothing. Are you good men (or women)?

The Flags of our Founding Fathers have Fallen!
There were men that gathered in drafty meeting halls and churches spread throughout 13 colonies ruled by the King of England. These men's background varied but they all shared a common thread: A dream of Liberty! These men talked to neighbors and friends and with courage and tenacity wrote a seccession document that we call the Declaration of Independance. They were great men. Not because they defied a king, not even because they took on the world's best army. They were great because when it was all over they could have ruled as King's themselves (in fact many wanted Washington to be the King of the America's). They were great because they saw what power and governments were capable of and they said no. They fought convention for a chance at true freedom. As they ratified their Constitution they knew with great satisfaction that (while not perfect) Freedom was the new King. We have seen so many abuses of these ideals that most of us are numb to them. Some are numb and ask themselves questions like; What could I do about it? Some are numb because our education system has stopped teaching of the founders and their quest for posterity and therefore have truly crushed hope. Hope in freedom, Hope in liberty; and by crushing this hope have crushed our path back to freedom. Over the last several years we have had 3 seperate Presidents that have all usurped our Constitution; and yet we do nothing. The time for doing nothing is over! The time for reverance to the Constitution and to reclaim our founders prosperity is now! How can we stand still and watch our freedom's end? Inaction now will lead us to that cliff which we are being rushed to be pushed over. Langdon (NH leader in the ratification of the Constitution)said that "death is not the worst of all evils". He meant that living under tyranny was worse than death. Most people are familiar with Patrick Henry's famous "give me liberty or give me death" quote; yet don't know that he also said that liberty is a precious jewel which needed vigilante protection. Who were to be the protectors of this jewel? I am, you are, otherwise known as the "We the people..." from that most sacred Declaration. That jewel Henry referred to is being abused and stolen by a Congress of these United States, and they should be ashamed of themselves as should we for doing nothing. Scott Brown's Massachusetts election was a signal to many that everything is going to be okay because he will stop healthcare. He will not stop healthcare! We should! We won't though, too many of us have become complacent and lazy when protecting that which should be most sacred. Our Liberty, Our Freedom: and this complacency is going to cost us all dearly. I want you to think of something: If you believe that even if Scott Brown managed to stop healthcare; Would that make it all better? Would California, Arizona, New York and so many other states suddenly become financially solvent? Would the Supreme Court suddenly stop interfereing in the practices of soveriegn states just because healthcare was stifled? We need solutions and most of all we need leaders. If you think someone that has an R beside their name is the solution you are wrong. Liberty and Freedom are not jewels that can be stared at in meusems, or around someone's neck, they are the backbone of our life. Without it all is lost. If you say you support the troops, yet fail to speak up about the attacks what are you really supporting? If you say you value Liberty and Freedom yet fail to fight for it's survival do you really value it? I value our Liberty and our Freedom and I fight for it everyday and I will not allow this Congress to borrow, steal or undermine the most precious gift of the three: Life....then Liberty, then the pursuit of happiness:Will you?

Make up my mind!
John Lynch speaks a great game and hopes people don't see the obvious. He is full of it! He says he is against an income tax. He vetoes a couple of income tax bills then hooks up with friends to help create the new and exciting LLC tax. As a business owner I must tell you that this is an income tax. It will have a worse effect than an actual income tax because of the amount of truly small businesses in our state. Many of our small businesses have less than 20 employees and this LLC tax increase will mean the difference between hiring someone and laying them off. I am losing faith in our Governor because of this wishy-washy stance and others like his statement that he wouldn't approve a gay-marriage bill then he signs it. No matter if you are for or against this doesn't it make you wonder what else he will compromise on? No sales tax etc. I am hoping he isn't the typical politician speaking out of both sides of his mouth but I really just don't know. Do you?

How do we described a fear that dwells in places we don't talk about?
Why do we feel pain that is so intense we don't talk about it?
What do we decide what to do when we get faced with something that scares us so much? Yet we are drawn to it like a moth to a flame?
Life plays it's games
drives us to be insane
makes us laugh
makes us cry
makes us all want to die
Hate? Hate does not exist
Hate is the point in our life when we despise we have become but love being that person we are.
So who do we trust when we no longer trust ourselves?
How are we suppose to feel when we can't trust our own feelings?
Where do we turn when all the roads feel like dead ends, and the one road left to choose is the one road that is going to force us to deal with the things we have been avoiding for years?

I just heard an ad paid for by the Democrat Senatortial committe, where they assert Mass voters can't elect Brown because he would be a deciding vote on OBAMA's Agenda. So the Dem's are admitting they don't care about health care reform just Obama socializing health care?? HMMM that seems wrong to me!
